Just a couple suggestions I'd like to see:
First: The ability for someone to use a command such as /forfeititem or /resigndrops or something of the sort which would make all items for you become free-for-all. Or, add an extra part like /resigndrops Playername Here and Playername Here is the only person who can pick up the party members drops.
I'd like this because I see a lot of: People dying, seeing a rare drop, but can't pick it up because he's dead and the team is going to wipe, with no resurrect available. This would let a friend pick up the item for him and give it to him in town, or just give it to someone. Whatever the case, as long as they see the item not going to waste.
Second: When Heroes get new armor sets, allow the changing of the other to have separate runes/insignias.
Sometimes I'd like an Ele hero to run Water instead of Earth, but I have to change rune's on his headpiece all the time, making it a little annoying.

Thoughts? Disagreements?

This can be solved by having the player its assigned to leave the team and map to their gh or something. the drop form them will become un-assigned and allow anyone to pick it up if that team is gonna whip anyway then it shouldn't matter if they map out.

Problem is I see increase scam potential here, it probably would not happen often, but it would likely increase.
That issue aside If you can resign an item specifically to another member, it does make the group mechanic work better. If you don't want it, and don't have inventory space, you don't have to drop or delete any items to pick it up, trade it to the other character and what not. Just give them ownership of the drop.
I think it could be useful and that it doesn't hurt to have it other then maybe some potential for someone to scam you.

The first one could be used for scams.

The second one I'd like, but I don't really see it possible.
Armors just change models, so this would triplicate the space required to save their runes.

The best situation would be to be able to unlock all possible runes and insignia for that hero, and be able to choose and change them anytime. But well... wishful thinking.

As far as the scam goes, I thought about that prior to posting the idea, but forgot to mention it :P
Just add in a warning popup.
Warning: This command will relinquish all items currently on the ground that have been designated for you. Are you sure you want to do this?
Something to that extent.

i play solo so this wouldn't matter much...

as for the second idea.... why bother constantly changing runes? set up heroes to do specific jobs aka Acolyte sousuke = fire ele, Vekk = Air ele, Zhed = water ele, etc....

using common sense and forethought would alleviate your issue as far as your second idea goes.

Because not everyone, myself included, only uses one hero with one distinct build. 3 SF eles is pretty effective, but if I'm fighting Destroyers, obviously fire won't work. Going back to the first problem.
3 Discord is another example. What if I want to run Sabway instead because of heavy hex/condition, making the spell Discord less effective.
But - Only one idea per thread (my bad, sorry mods) so I'll make a thread about this again at a later date, or something :P
